    OK guys, work and tests are done. Executive summary, good for ~4 ft-lbs of torque w/o tune changes in the mid-range rpms, peak hp gain was negligible. I'll get the charts scanned and posted once I fix my scanner (hopefully tomorrow). I've seen people spend more money for less, overall I'd say it's worth it and I'm keeping mine.

    Once we did the before & after run with no tune changes Brian @ RPT took the time to dial in some tune tweaks with timing etc. That added a little more to the fun curve and she pulls really well now.

    Bear in mind I've already had a ton of mods done so dramatic results shouldn't be expected (and weren't). Subjectively, throttle response has further improved (which surprised me, it was already quite good) and she does seem to wind up a little faster. Like anything else I'll give it a few days and trips to settle in and keep an eye on mileage changes.

    Would I recommend this part to others? I can say yes, I would. It doesn't appear to do any harm and anything that adds torque is OK by me.

    Will this work well with a ported TB or have adverse effects???

    I have a ported TB and intake manifold, CAI, and 90mm MAF housing w/ LS3 card MAF. Modded as I am on the intake side, I still saw a gain with this part. It'll work with a ported TB just fine.

    Thats great now which part number is the one for a 2009 stock maf......?

    I used part number VRX-93... I have an LS3 throttle body (09.5 G8). The LS2 tb part number is VRX-92.

    As a stocking stuffer I ordered the Ls-2 version. I have a 2009 g8 gt. FYI:Mdsp sent a link for the G8 2009 as a ls-3. I know I have the ls2 version from when I had it ported. If it gives any seat of te pants feel I will note it.

    Will this affect air fuel ratio needing another tune? I know I needed a retune after ported tb/intake

    I did not need a re-tune. Brian threw that in anyway based on some other stuff he saw that had nothing to do with the part. The dyno chart is the difference w/ no tune changes, note...
