Offer this 1LE 3.91 Performance Gear Kit (19301504) to your Camaro SS customers instead of the OE service kit (22813040).

With this gear kit, you can offer 2010-2013 Camaro SS owners the same gear set ratio (3.91) found in the 1LE 2013 Camaro. This 3.91 Performance Gear Kit Package offers a lower (higher numerically) ratio rear drive gear, which will increase effective rear wheel torque multiplication (TM) in 2010-2013 SS Camaros. 13% TM increase with a manual transmission (standard 3.45 ratio) equipped vehicle, and 20% TM in an automatic (standard 3.27 ratio) equipped vehicle.

It is not that great of a deal for the G8 guys, as the above kit includes a new tune from the dealer after you get the gears installed and is CARB compliant for the Camaro.

I bought a 3.91 1LE rear end from Greg, and put a Eaton TrueTrac in it. Very happy so far. Yes, there is one little field in HP Tuners to change for the axle ratio. Note this is prolly too much gear unless you are running an M6 car (because the 6L80 gears are lower, especially 1st, than the T6060 gears. That's why the GXP A6 comes with 3.27 but the M6 comes with 3.70. GT comes with 2.92. A friend put my 3.70 take off on his GT and it was a smoke show no traction in 1st.

I figured I would just post it, I work at a dealer and was going thru some of my service updates. Didn't really read into it, just happy I found something that kinda pertains to our cars. Like I said I was thinking of my fellow members, no big deal

Now if we could still get the 3.91 ring and pinion alone from GM that would be great. It was around $225 I think, but they made them for service only now. Boo

how would this gear work with boost? will it to much?

i want to stay close to m 3.70 on my gxp so i was contemplating the zl1 diff, but was reading around that the zl1 diff is beefy and i will need custom length axles?
