    12638427 - LS9 cam - $114.10
    12569427 - LS3 hollow intake valves - $22.30 ea or 178.40 a set of 8

Should be able to run stock pushrods but slightly longer might be better.
I wouldn't use this cam unless you are going to a PD blower in the very near future.

I didn't see where you were replacing your valve springs...

do not do it. unless you do not mind going slower from 0 to 60. been there. done that. takes stock length pushrods. 7.40. do not go longer. you will need better springs. top end will improve and you will gain a wopping .1 to .15 in the quarter. it will idle just like stock or slightly better. i got it out of my car fairly quickly.

I cant speak to N/A, but as Greg said it works well enough with a blower. I'd get a custom cam if you aren't going to get a maggie. Pat G can do it and others just tell them you want stock-like idle if that's what you are wanting.

You would be better off with a LS3 cam....

Why would it be better? For an NA application, is the LS9 cam too high of an LSA?

So.....Has anyone tried and ls7 cam. I know the numbers are very similar to the ls9 except for a tighter lsa. I had planned on putting it in since I can do it for free but this makes me nervous. My main go was to use this cam to get a more reliable valvetrain and make a little more power in the process. Yes I know I would make a lot more power with an aftermarket cam but the cost differential makes it not an option (free versus $750 +/- for a custom cam). Just really curious if anyone has actually tried it.

Yes too wide of an LSA. Duration and lift is good but LSA kills it.
